Endometrial Receptivity Array is a test that allows us to analyse the receptivity of the endometrium (womb lining), it ensures that the correct timing of embryo transfer is selected for each individual, to help maximise implantation. During the female ovulation cycle there is a short time frame where the womb lining is at its optimal thickness, this period is when the womb is most ready to receive an embryo, leading to an increased likelihood of successful implantation. The ERA test allows us to analyse the genes found in the endometrium, specifically the genes vital to the implantation. This helps us to know the best time for the embryo to be received, so it can be personalised for each person in order to optimise results.
